Came home tonite to a very excited wife – assuming all goes well through the night as far as Toby staying off the ventilator and doing well all around, tomorrow we may be able to finally hold him!
As an aside, apparently “skin-to-skin”:https://www.lalecheleague.org/FAQ/premkangaroo.html contact is believed to be very beneficial to all babies. Certainly will be to these new parents! 🙂

Congratulations to you all from a complete stranger. But I do have five (5) chn and 1.75 gnchn & some experience of looking through the plexiglass.
Skin contact? Grab that baby, hold it, and pass the parcel until it wants to go to school.

Lynn, as much as Sean may THINK he has endured in this experience, my wife reminds me on a regular basis that at best I am just a doner in the process. God Bless you for the miracle you have brought into this world and take all the necessary rest that you need.
